John Deere Transmissions
The Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT) is designed to be easy to use while still providing a constant level of power and efficiency. The ability of the original and rebuilt John Deere transmissions to run at a lower engine speed increases the fuel efficiently, helping to ease the strain of higher fuel prices. What farmers like most about them is that they are easy to drive.
Case IH Magnum
The second option has the extra road gear to make it extremely fuel-efficient on the road. This allows for a maximum of 25mph and gives an 11 percent fuel savings. The last version has shift-through creeper speeds.
New Holland T6000 Series
New Holland gives farmers four choices of transmissions with the newest in technology. The 16x16 autoshift has a programmable shift for both field and rode modes. The farmer simply selects the option that matches the situation and the equipment does the rest. The third option is a 24x24 dual command. The power shuttle on the unit adds an underdrive gear for both directions. This model has a mechanical shuttle instead of a power version, giving four gears in all three ranges.
